The first two times I reported it, my boss gathered us together for an employee meeting to find out what happened and to lecture us on professional behavior in the workplace. The first time he admitted to what he did, and the second time he said that he didn't "remember" saying anything. He has been given one written warning. Now there has recently been a third occurance, which I reportedly immediately to my supervisor. She didn't address the situation until two days later, when I told her I felt I should go to HR. Although she told me that she wanted to keep this an "in office" issue, I decided to go to HR anyway to report it. They came to the office and gave a 20-minute presentation on sexual harassment and retaliation, and that was it. I ed them the next day to tell them that I felt that wasn't enough, and that I think it would be more appropriate to file a complaint, especially since this has happened twice before. They told me that since he's already signed an agreement with my boss stating he won't do it again, they don't understand what more they can do (as if they don't understand why an official complaint needs to be filed). Am I doing the right thing by filing a complaint? Yes he agreed not to do it again, but he said that the last two times, and it still happened again. I'm at the point where I don't trust being around him, I don't trust my supervisor because she didn't nip this in the the first two times and advised me not to go to HR, not to mention my morale is zero, which is affecting my attitude and productivity in the workplace. Is it wrong to request that either he be terminated or I be moved to a different department on campus, or should I just resign?
